We don’t have to follow grammar rules in short story. That’s because while we write short story we have to express our feelings or the character feelings, and everything have to express in a words. To show people how the character feels, that are a reason why many times they have to use wrong grammar. Even short story or story used wrong grammar but every word they are using are able to understand and sometimes it easy to understand the word more than we explain. It’s also the author choice to choose word to describe.
As you can see, lots of story especially fantasy books they always use the wrong grammar. They have to tell what happen in the story and they can’t tell you while using everything right. Example, sometimes they have to use the word many times in the same place, same sentence but its make sense. That’s helps people understand that it is a strong feeling. Even they use it all correctly, the reader cannot get to the emotional of the characters because we can’t get to the reader emotional if we said that character having ‘a strong feeling’, the reader might know they are but will not get along with the story. Imagine you correct grammar in the Harry Potter book; every sentence and every word are all right. I believe that the story might not fun anymore.
In this story No Speak English, the author didn’t follow grammar rules. Like “Home. Home. Home is a house in a photograph, a pink house, pink as hollyhocks with lots of startled light.” They use the word ‘Home’ three times and use the word pink twice to make the reader understand clearly and truly. To made a story become fun and more interest. The writers have to tell the character feel and move that feeling to the reader so people can get along with it.
Wrong grammars are also helps build up the character. We can tell how that character is without described. Mamacita said ‘No English’ that make the reader understand that she’s not good in English and by not sticking grammar rule. The writer can build they own creativity without limit.
The thing that the writers have to do is getting people with the story. They cannot do everything perfectly.
Sometimes we have to accept that is the way they are. You can’t get everything right. Creative writing can made everything that the writer want it to be and the writer can make you understand and imagine everything as they want so “we don’t have to follow grammar in a short story”

Why is Mamacita homesick? - Su In

Homesick, which feel really unhappy bcause you are away from home and are mssing your family, friends, and home so much. By my experience, it makes us to be spiritless person. As me, Mamacita is the woman who lives in a foreign country with her youn baby boy and her husband. We can't know that why her family stay at that foreign country but can know that Mamacita was homesick by read this short story. By this story, I can find three reasons that why she 's homesick even though she has hunband and baby together. First, she can't converse with those people in that country. Second, she feels lonely in her life because she just stay at home with her baby for a whole day until her husband will come back home late after his work. And last, I feel like homesick makes her to be in depression mood.

First of all, we can know easily that she can't speak English well by the sentence, "She doesn't come out because she's afaid to speak English, and maybe this is so since she only knows eight words. She knows how to say: He's not here for when landlord comes, No speak English if anybody else comes, and Holy smokes. " This sentence means that she's afraid to speak English so she can't speak English ell and it means she can't converse with others and usually stay at home only with her baby boy and it makes her to be in homesik more and more. Maybe, she doens't have a friend to talk because she 's just afraid to talk with someone else.

Second, most of tme, she just stay at home with her child with her fat body and maybe her life pattern makes her getting more gat and fall into homesick deeper and deeper. We can guess it by this sentence, "She sits all day by the window and plays the Spanish radio show and sings all the homesick songs about her country in a voice that sounds like a seagull."

Lastly, I felt that she's not that rich person because her hunband works for a whole day hardly to earn money to live with family and she locks in herself at home only with her baby. She's afraid to talk with others so she just spends her time alone with listening radio and missing her hometown.

At conclusion, we can all know that she's missint her home badly but she can't go back now and this story was a bit touched my feeling because even me I do miss my home like Mamacita, who is one of baby boy's mommy.

Why's Mamacita homesick?

Mamacita is a Mexican lady. She is a huge and enormous lady. She has left her countrty and lived with her boyfriend. She lives in an apartment with her boyfriend. She is homesick because she left her country which is her home. She is homesick because she can't speak English. She is homesick because she always thinks about the pass.

She is homesick because she left her country which is her home. She left her country to live with her boyfriend in another country. Her boyfriend works two jibs. He came home late amd left early in the morning, so Mamacita has to be alone. She feels alone and misses her lovers.

She is homesick because she can't speak English. She knows only eight words. She is afraid to go outside of the apartment because of her appearance and poor speaking skill. She can't talk to anyone because on one would understand what she is talking about. This is the reason why it makes Mamacita feels homesick.

But that can't make Mamacita feels better. She also likes to sing all the homesick song, which it will make her feels more homesick

In the conclusion, I think homesick can affect us everything. When we move to another country and we are homesick, it will make us feel lonesome. Being alone can make us become homesick. Miss the one we love, such as, friends, family, and couple can make us become homesick. So, I think we should always have someone to talk to wherever we go.
